276I’ve spent the last few months running around for my book tour, and between sold out events all over the country and a spot on the New York Times Best Seller list I have to say: it’s been quite the ride. I couldn’t be more thankful for the outpouring of support from readers like YOU. This book, and this tour, would be nothing without you.

Now, that being said, I’m a firm believer in there being a time to give it all you’ve got and a time to rest…which is why, this week, I’m making some time for ME. Think of yourself as your own one-woman business. You can’t very well take over the world if you run yourself into the ground and then get the flu, right? I know, I know: “Thanks, Mom.” But failing to take care of yourself will not only slow you down; it can also hurt your bottom line.

So this week, let’s all take the time to make sure we’re eating well for our health (and our wallets). Spending time with loved ones? Let’s carve out a little time for that, too. Some retail therapy to relax? There’s even a smart way to do that, right this way.

And hey—should you still get sick, there’s always room for negotiation, so pick up the phone and call your provider stat.

After all, you are the CEO of YOU, Inc. Now it’s time to act like it.
